Playstation Home is temporarily down for emergency maintenance. Why? To fix the Motorstorm Sphere glitches says the Community Team leader on the Sony Playstation forums.
On the European Playstation forums, a representative says they are fixing the mini-game of the Presentation Podium as well.
Update: Home is back up! The freezing issues in the Presentation Podium has been resolved as well as the Motorstorm Sphere glitches. The Home Theater has been updated with new trailers as well.
